Reaching out to others in the name of Jesus is at the heart of everything we do in this church.  Not only does it bring healing and hope to those in need, it helps deepen our faith in the God of Love. 

We are involved in a number of regular outreach missions projects including

• A food voucher mission on the 3rd Thursdays of the month
• Back-to-school drive
• Christmas boxes through Samaritan's Purse
• Matagorda County Food Drive in partnership with BCPD and many other community partners and organizations to provide Christmas Meal food boxes to local families in need - 2024 Sign-ups 11/14 & 11/21 at FMC, downstairs in the Youth Building.                  2024 Distribution 12/21/24
• Partnership with The Harvest House Community Food Pantry
• The Prayer Room
• UMARMY, Big House, and local work days...just to name a few!  
• Disaster Relief - The Global Methodist Church works with GM Church ministry partners in impacted areas around the globe to help people and local churches with recovery needs. Your generous gifts allow volunteers and emergency workers on the ground to purchase the critical resources (e.g. water, food, shelter) people need in the aftermath of a disaster.
